KuvausThe project aims to strengthen students’ wellbeing, self-regulation and balanced digital behavior by integrating structured wellbeing support into everyday vocational education. It seeks to develop and test a student-centered digital application based on validated needs within a transferable co-creation framework, while promoting learner agency, responsible digitalization and cross-European cooperation in Vocational Education.
KehittämistarveThe motivation for this project stems from a shared challenge identified across the partner organizations through a joint problem and impact tree analysis: many vocational education and training (VET) students experience reduced wellbeing, difficulties in daily life management and weakened self-regulation.

These challenges are linked to unbalanced digital habits in students’ everyday lives, irregular routines and limited structured opportunities within within educational institutions to develop practical wellbeing skills as part of everyday learning. While these patterns reflect broader youth digital behaviour, their consequence become visible in study engagement, concentration and daily learning capacity within vocational education.

The partners identified a clear need for structured, student-centred and practice-oriented approaches that integrate
wellbeing into the learning process itself. This project responds to that need by combining needs analysis, design sprint and applied digital development. Students are actively involved in identifying wellbeing-related needs, and these insights guide the development of a digital application that is technically developed by ICT students as part of their vocational studies.
ToimenpiteetThe project conducts student surveys, wellbeing workshops and a structured design sprint to identify priority needs. Based on these, international student teams develop and test three digital application prototypes. One prototype is selected and refined after pilot testing in partner institutions. Results are integrated into educational practice and shared across European VET networks.
TuloksetThe project delivers a release-ready, student-centered digital wellbeing application, a documented co-creation and
development model, and practical implementation guidelines. Outcomes include strengthened student agency, improved wellbeing awareness, enhanced digital responsibility and increased institutional capacity to integrate wellbeing into Vocational education across Europe.
