KuvausNeurofeedback and Exergaming Transforming Vocational Education and Training - project's objectives are contributing to innovation in vocational education and training and improving quality assurance in vocational education and training.

Project topics are physical and mental health, well-being, preventing early school leaving and failure in education and creating new, innovative or joint curricula or courses

By incorporating innovative digital tools into teaching and student well-being initiatives across several European VET schools, our project directly addresses important vocational education concerns. Through a strong international partnership, we use neurofeedback and (VR-based) exergaming to develop dynamic, captivating learning experiences that improve mental and physical health.
KehittämistarveThere is a need to develop Vocational education in terms of student well-being. Student well-being is a key focus, as many VET learners struggle with stress, disengagement, and lack of physical activity. One of the most pressing needs project address is mental health support. Neurofeedback interventions focus on giving students self-regulation skills to enhance focus and stress management, exergaming makes movement-based learning more engaging and approachable.
ToimenpiteetThe project will implement innovative exergaming and neurofeedback interventions to improve student well-being invocational education.
TuloksetThe expected outcomes include validated tools, educator training modules, and implementation guidelines. The outcomes will enhance cognitive and physical health, engagement, and learning performance.

The project's long-term goals are to ensure sustainable incorporation into VET courses, supporting systemic improvements in student achievement across Europe. Goals foster innovation in VET curricula, supporting systemic improvements in student success and well-being. The project aims to implement innovative exergaming and neurofeedback interventions to improve student well-being in vocational education. It aims to improve cognitive and physical health, engagement, and learning outcomes.
KumppanitThe project includes Vocational schools, Research Institute and Savonia University of applied science. Cooperators are from five countries: the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Spain, and Portugal. The Amsterdam-Flevoland Vocational school from Holland manages the project.
